The NYJC Choir has been awarded a SILVER in this year's SYF Central Judging of Choirs! (:
It has been a great experience for all the choristers up on stage today.. And most, if not all, are relieved that they've done their best and that it's finally over..
In the short period of a few months.. The choir has advanced immensely.. From the beginnings.. When the 1st and 2nd intakers joined the choir family.. Still unsure of what to do.. To the preparation for our concert APASSIONATA.. Where bonds start to be forged between members.. Even between the choir and the teachers.. Up to the day of SYF.. Where pseudo families come up between the younger ones and the supposedly more mature ones.. XD
This only goes to show that the choir has come to be a close-knit community where FUN takes place.. Something that earlier batches believed in.. That choir be not just a CCA.. But an activity whereby members enjoy the company of each other.. And everyone has fun while striving to achieve a common goal.. Where people work together as
ONE VOICE, ONE SOUL..
